Brazilian club Portuguesa hire hypnotist in an attempt to stave off relegation

Having been relegated from the top tier to Serie B last season, Brazilian side Portuguesa now lie 2nd bottom, 11 points from safety.

Portuguesa haven’t won any of their last 8 matches and have two months to climb up the table to avoid relegation.

In a desperate bid to stave off relegation , manager Vagner Benazzi has hired hypnotist Olimar Tesser after hearing about his successes elsewhere.

Benazzi said “I don’t like to miss out on a good opportunity.”

“I know what he has done and I want him to work with my players before our matches.

“It was something that I decided due to the situation the club finds itself in.”
