It's Mental Health Awareness Week here in the UK next week (in the USA they get a whole month!).
What does it mean? Put simply it's a time where Mental Health is promoted with the intention to encourage people to come forward and acknowledge their mental health isn't as good as it should be. To talk about it rather than to remain silent. As I'm sure many of you are aware that Prince Harry recently 'opened up' to needing some help and there was an interview with Rio Ferdinand too, discussing his mental health issues. It's seems as though everyone is beginning to 'open up' more and more. What about you? Have you discussed your mental health with anyone recently? It doesn't have to be with a therapist, a good friend or family member will do, as long as they are good listeners and non-judgemental. Although I advertise myself as a Hypnotherapist I'm also a qualified Psychotherapist, or a 'Talk' therapist if you want. If you feel you need to talk to someone about your mental health you can book a Psychotherapy session with me. It will be much the same as the Hypnotherapy session but with out the Hypnotherapy, so giving you even more time to talk. The FREE consultation is always the best place to start, from there we can discuss what needs to be done and the relevant methods required to get you back on track. Please get in touch and let me help you improve your life.
